My name is Patrick Walsh - I’m a full stack developer who lives in the Boston, MA area and currently works for Fast Forward. I had a previous career as a writer and a project manager in sales and marketing before attending Launch Academy to change careers.

The rest is history. I’ve been working with a wide range of clients, from small construction firms to Fortune 500 medical device manufacturers, every day since. My previous experience, coupled with the technical skills I gained at Launch Academy and have continued to develop, means that I am an important partner to my clients through the entire project lifecycle, from scoping and estimating work, through development and deployment.

Much of my work has been in React, but my most impactful work and some of the code I’m most proud of has been in Node.js and Go. From developer tooling to ETL pipelines, I’ve had the opportunity to participate in a broad spectrum of development.
