My name is Patrick Walsh - I’m a full stack developer who lives in the Boston, MA area and currently works for Klaviyo. Before that, I worked at Fast Forward as a consultant to businesses big and small. I had a previous career as a writer and a project manager in sales and marketing before attending Launch Academy to change careers.

The rest is history. At the moment I’m working with a small team within the organization to drive a better user experience across the Klaviyo application for our customers. When I was with Fast Forward, I worked with a wide range of clients, from small construction firms to Fortune 500 medical device manufacturers. My previous experience, coupled with the technical skills I gained at Launch Academy and have continued to develop, means that I am an important partner to my clients through the entire project lifecycle, from scoping and estimating work, through development and deployment.

Much of my work has been in React, but my most impactful work and some of the code I’m most proud of has been in Node.js and Go. From developer tooling to ETL pipelines, I’ve had the opportunity to participate in a broad spectrum of development.
